Google My Business is the great tool for representing your company more effectively.
Google makes the platform more interactive by adding a new feature on Google My Business. From now on business owners can upload videos to their photos dashboard, as well as watch videos uploaded by customers.
You can use it as an effective communication tool, as videos can help your business stand out and represent it in a more positive way. The ability for customers to upload videos was introduced last year, but now businesses can do it as well.
Follow these simple steps to add video to you GMB dashboard:
#1 Sign in to your Google My Business account.
#2 Go to the “Photos” tab.
#3 Click on “Add Videos” and upload the video from your computer.
The videos can be up to 30 seconds long and will appear on Google My Business Dashboard. Customer and business owners uploaded videos will be separated into to tabs: “customer” tab and “by owner” tab.
It’s important to say that videos would take up to 24 hours to upload. This is to protect businesses from posting unwanted material. Once video uploads, you will see it alongside the photos. In addition, you can flag customer’s video if you think that it is inappropriate.
Next feature, supposedly, will make GMB videos more mobile.
